Dr. George Kosmides’ center for chiropractic, nutrition and acupuncture is located in Sherman Oaks, Calif. We're in the San Fernando Valley, just a few miles north of Los Angeles.
The goal of Dr. George's office is to ensure adults and children are well adjusted chiropractically and well supported nutritionally, as well as being able to offer the finest in acupuncture and massage, using the most up-to-date methods. In our office, you are the No. 1 priority.
About 80% of insurance plans cover chiropractic and acupuncture. We will verify your benefits when you come to our Valley office for the first visit. What if you have no insurance? We offer plans to fit most budgets. Accident- and work-related injuries also are accepted.
Dr. George has been practicing chiropractic since 1993 and at the Sherman Oaks office since 2003. He holds licensure in Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.
What to expect when you visit our chiro center
As you begin your program at our clinic, the talented staff of professionals will assess your health status. Your doctor then will prescribe a personalized program of massage, adjustments, nutritional supplements and acupuncture. He’ll also recommend diet and lifestyle modifications that are both effective and "doable," along with other specialized therapies that are right for you.
As part of the chiropractic and acupuncture services, Nutritional Reflex Testing is performed to locate weaknesses within the body.
We offer therapies you won't find in any other single clinic. These include whole-food supplements that provide specific cellular support, and herbal formulas to also help in the correction of body weaknesses.
The use of herbs prescribed by a properly trained and compassionate acupuncturist can further improve balance and promote health.
